BlueStacks Review: What if all the apps you run on your Android smartphones also runs on your PC/Mac? That would be great as well as something different. There are quite a lot of apps which can be far better if we can run or use them on a PC with a bigger screen. Android Games would be super fantastic to play on a larger screen. Android Emulators make this thing possible.
There are many Android emulators out there who run Android apps on PC/Mac. You can install them on your PC and run Android apps right away. Bluestacks is the most popular one among all the Android emulators available. So is Bluestacks, a great emulator for running Android apps? Let’s find out in this review.
Bluestack is an emulator for Windows and Mac where you can run free Android apps. As I have already said in the past, currently this is the most popular emulator as millions of people are already using it. After testing it for a few weeks (Ok, I played my favorite games on my PC!) I have to say – “Bluestack Emulator is excellent and innovative, but it is not perfect. It has flaws here and there, maybe a little too much for our likings. “
Bluestacks does not require loads of storage and a high-end computer to run. It can run with minimum 2 GB of RAM with around 9GB of storage (For Apps and Games). But, this is a very minimally optimize software. Also, At the same time, the interface and another factor of the software does not seem to be amazing at all.
You will see that Bluestacks comes with some pre-installed Android apps and games. These apps are Google Play Store, 1Mobile Market, Bluestacks charts, and Facebook, etc. I think the targeted audience for bluestacks is mainly gamers who would love to play their favorite Android games on PC (Like Clash of Clans, Subway Surfers, etc.). You can see this on slideshows at the time of installing bluestacks on your PC.
Bluestack User Interface
Bluestacks Emulator runs on Android Nougat 7.1.2, and the user interface is Standard Android. When you open the app, you will get a bunch of apps most of them are games. You can directly click on the app’s icon to download them one by one. The home screen is boring and if you think you have apps already installed in bluestacks then you are wrong. As soon as you click those apps on your home screen, it will take you to Google Play to download the apps.
The typing experience on Bluestacks is bad as the buttons react slowly. BlueStacks Keyboard has some glitches here and there. So if you are typing a long sentence, then you might get annoyed with it. Otherwise, it works all right.
You will be playing games on Bluestacks most of the times, and you will not complain about it. Bluestacks app runs games very smoothly. Games like Clash of Clans, Asphalt 8 and Dead Runner works perfectly without any screen frame drops. The only problem with the game is that Bluestacks takes a long time to load a game even if the game is not that much heavy in size.
One of the biggest problem in Bluestacks is that the auto rotating mode does not help in this emulator. Playing games with portrait mode does not do good in Bluestacks. As your screen will always be in landscape. Other bugs in Bluestacks is the picture processing time on Instagram. It takes quite a lot of time to process an image. Other things like opening emails in Gmail does not work smoothly.
Bluestacks has yet to develop a lot because there are some issues here and there in the user interface of the apps. Although games run smoothly, the experience will not be super amazing because the controls can create problems now and then.
Final Verdict: BlueStacks Is Good Actually Great But Not Perfect. You Should Try Other Good Bluestacks Alternatives Like Koplayer (Windows) And Genymotion (Both Windows & Mac) To Find Out Which One Suits You Best.
